MICHAEL CLEMENTS

Michael Clements brings over two decades of playing, coaching, and player development experience to Forge Athletics & Recreation. A 1999 graduate of Grapevine High School, Michael was a three-time regional finalist and two-time All-State catcher. He continued his baseball career at Baylor University, Navarro College, and The University of Alabama, earning championships in both the Big 12 and SEC. His collegiate career included appearances in two NCAA Regional tournaments and one NCAA Super Regional. Michael graduated from The University of Alabama in 2004.

Since 2005, Michael has coached select baseball for ages 8–18, guiding over 50 players into college or professional baseball. His coaching background includes two seasons at the Episcopal School of Dallas and three seasons at Navarro College, where he continued to develop high-level athletes. In addition to team coaching, Michael has been a dedicated private instructor for nearly 20 years, specializing in hitting, catching, and overall player development.

Michael has been married to his wife, Shelly, for 13 years, and they have two children — Ryland (10) and Kinsley (6). His coaching philosophy emphasizes developing the whole athlete, combining skill development with mental preparation and character growth.

At Forge Athletics & Recreation, Michael leads our player development programs, builds innovative training curriculums, and works directly with athletes and our coaching staff to help them reach their highest potential.
